The summer transfer window is starting to warm up for Mikel Arteta and Arsenal.
The new Premier League season is around the corner and some big changes could be made before the opener.
Arsenal will host Wolves on August 17, as they have a pretty tricky opening, but it’s what they need to overcome if they are to become champions of England.

Manchester City pipped Arsenal to the Premier League title last season and now Arteta has to make further changes to his squad if they are to get over the line.
It has been well-documented about the incoming transfer at the Emirates. Riccardo Calafiori is about to secure a deal to Arsenal.
The fans will want more than just the versatile defender entering the building, but years after heavy spending, it’s not that easy.
Arsenal need to free up some space and that means making some tough calls, even for Arteta himself, because that’s what is needed if they want to become champions again.
Sources have told HITC that Arteta has reluctantly given the green light for Arsenal to sell Emile Smith Rowe to Fulham.
Darren Ambrose expressed that he is ‘gutted’ that Smith Rowe is moving to Craven Cottage because he wanted Crystal Palace to sign him.
As Arsenal fan and commentator Harry Symeou pointed out, Smith Rowe has fallen behind at his boyhood club and this move ‘suits everyone involved’, as he told talkSPORT (27/07/24 at 4:30 pm).
Emile Smith Rowe’s future
“When a piece of business suits everyone involved, it’s really difficult to argue against it,” said Symeou.
“You look at the fact that he suffered a lot of injury problems over the last few years, in suffering those injuries, it kind of meant that he got left behind when the team evolved and changed – Emile Smith Rowe needs to go and play football. A move like Fulham actually works quite well.”
Ambrose admitted: “I am actually gutted that one of my former clubs Crystal Palace are not really making a move. I know there was talk about Fulham or Palace. But it looks to be Fulham.”
Who else could leave Arsenal?
The Hale-End star might not be the only one heading for the exit door and saying his goodbyes this summer.
Sources have told HITC that West Ham United are keen to do a deal for Reiss Nelson – he probably didn’t have the impact Smith Rowe once did, but he isn’t good enough either.

If the Gunners can free up some space, then it will be interesting to see if they bring in more players, especially with all this talk about needing a striker.
Sources have told HITC about Arsenal’s transfer stance on Ivan Toney, with the player keen to leave and his Brentford deal expiring in 12 months.
